New economy filters

← back

Economy is important in CS:GO. Whether to eco or to force can be the difference between losing or winning a map. Noesis is releasing a new feature enabling you to get an overview of the economy in every round as well as quickly filtering rounds by economy.

In this blog post we will look at the new filtering options in Noesis.

# Economy filter

The first difference you will notice is that the overview now has two team dropdowns. At first you can only pick the first team. When a team is selected you can expand a new panel to add additional filters to the selected team.

You are now also able to add filters to the opponent of the selected team. Note, you do not have to pick any specific opponent.

That enables you to pick rounds where your team has a full buy and your opponent has a full buy regardless of who the opponent is.

Of course, you can also select a specific opponent.

The video below shows most of the new features in action.

# What can I use it for?

The new filtering options enables you to find the rounds you are looking for even faster.

For example, teams usually play their eco rounds very differently from their gun rounds. When looking at aggregated positions to look for movement patterns of your opponent you can now find and inspect eco rounds and gun rounds separately.

You are also able to get a better sense of how often your team win anti-eco rounds, eco rounds, partial buys, etc.

# Round tagging

This release also ships with some additional information to the demo overview.

When expanding a demo in the overview each round will now show two new pieces of information:

  1. Team equipment value
  2. Bomb plants

In the future, we will add new and exciting round tags as well as new filtering options.

We have put a lot of work into this release and really hope you will enjoy it.
